Thinking of getting your private pilot license? LebanAir has a new private pilot ground school course starting in January! Classes will be every Thursday Evening for 12 weeks (with a 13th week as an optional class). The first class will be Jan 6th, from 6pm – 9:30pm. We finally have our new 1956 Cessna 172 on the rental line. This is one sweet airplane to fly. It flies straight and true, climbs like you wouldn’t believe, is very stable and has awesome visibility through the windshield, due to the low instrument panel. You will absolutely love to fly this airplane! And at only $65 per hr., it’s an airplane you can afford to fly. You won’t find a nicer airplane to fly at this price anywhere in Oregon. We have a verbal confirmation from the state, that they are going to purchase all the materials for the PCL and taxi way upgrades, but the work will not be done until early next year. So there will be no closure of S30 this year.
